Juventus are set to complete the signing of Wojciech Szczezny from Arsenal for a fee to believed of around £14m. The Italian champions have believed to have reached an agreement where they will paying the Polish International wages of around £3.5m over a four year contract.
Szczesny has clearly impressed the double winning Juventus side during a two-year loan deal with runners-up AS Roma. He is expected to be an understudy to long serving goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon as the veteran keeper enters his final year on his Juventus contract.
Szczesny joined Arsenal’s academy in 2006 from Polish side Legia Warsaw and has gone on to make 181 appearances for Arsenal’s first team. Szczesny recently signed a long term deal with the Gunners back in 2013.
Since the arrivals of Petr Cech and David Ospina, the Polish International has found chances of game time slim at Arsenal, hence the loan moves and now the impending permanent transfer to Juventus
