Pre-Game Thoughts: Barnoldswick’s Danny Craig

We spoke to Barnoldswick Town manager Danny Craig ahead of tonight’s Macron Cup semi final clash live on B Live Sports Radio.

The @barlickfc gaffer spoke highly of Joe Doran’s Bootle, while hoping his side would be able to cope with the physical and mental demands of their current packed fixture list.

Danny told B Live Sports, “We know what a tough task we are facing this evening. Having already played Bootle twice in a week, I know what a top team they are”
“They play some great football and have some excellent players for this level.
“That said, we feel we got the opportunity to experience what Bootle away mid-week is all about on Tuesday night.
“Although the result was not what we wanted, it was a good experience for us in preparation for tonight’s game”.
He went on to tell us what his expectations were for tonight’s game, stating, “For me it’s about making sure the players are physically and mentally ready for tonight.
“We’ve experienced quite an extensive run of fixtures to catch up following the bad weather we had in February.
“We hope we have managed the players well enough to ensure we have a fit strong squad tonight and give ourselves the best chance of coming away with the result we want”.
Find out if Craig’s side can beat Bootle tonight live from 7.45pm on B Live Sports Radio.
