Match Preview: Bootle vs. Barnoldswick Town

The Macron Cup Semi Final second leg between Bootle and Barnoldswick Town is live on B Live Sports Radio tonight.

The tie is delicately poised with Barnoldswick leading 1-0 from the first leg.

When the two sides met in a Premier Division game on Tuesday, Bootle ran out 6-1 winners. Joe Doran’s men will be hoping they saved some goals for tonight’s clash.

With five wins in their last nine matches, including three defeats, the Bucks current from is hit-and-miss.

They will be hoping for a better result than their last semi final tie – defeat to Prescot Cables in the Liverpool County FA Senior Cup.

Barnoldswick will surely be out for revenge following the 6-1 drubbing on Tuesday night at the hands of tonight’s opponents.

Danny Craig’s men have won just two of their last seven, including the first leg victory.

They will be hoping Mark Threllfall can add to his goal tally of 10 for this season, and see them through to the final.
