FULL TIME: West Brom 3-1 Arsenal Arsene Wenger under huge pressure now. Will he be out at the end of the season? How does he survive?
Dawson’s double puts West Brom closer to reaching a record points tally for the Baggies. 27 points to play for and they only need seven to beat it. Will they do it?
90′: Oxlade Chamberlain finds Bellerin on the overlap but his cross is blocked by Evans and out for a corner, which leads to nothing for Arsene Wenger’s side.
89′: Three minutes to be added on at the end of this second half.
88′: Chadli goes off for Field in WBA’s last subsitution.
86′: Ball crossed in towards Robson Kanu is just to high for the Welsh forward.
84′: Now Ramsey fouls Nyom. West Brom in no rush to take the free kick.
83′: Welbeck claws down Yacob and has given away a free kick. More time for WBA to kill.
80′: Just seen a replay of WBA’s third goal. Arsenal had Oxlade-Chamberlain marking Dawson at the corner. That’s criminal.
79′: A foot race between Bellerin and McClean there. Bellerin the winner but McClean is no slug.
77′: Ramsey’s cross is met by Monreal at the back post but it’s deflected out for a corner. Sanchez is replaced by Iwobi to loud cheers from WBA fans.
75′: GOAL WEST BROM Dawson An almost carbon copy of the first goal. Dawson heads home from a corner once again. 3-1.
74′: Mustafi blocks a cross and chases the loose ball but it runs out for a corner. Danger for Arsenal here.
73′: Sanchez lobs a ball from a central position towards Giroud but Foster claims safely.
71′: Claudio Yacob on for Chris Brunt for WBA.
70′: Great catch from Foster after Monreal’s cross. Crowd unhappy with the official’s after Mustafi and Robson Kanu were holding each other (*not romantically).
69′: Straight into the wall from Xhaka.
68′: Welbeck is fouled just outside the area by Brunt after he beats Nyom. Free kick to be taken by Xhaka.
66′: Double chance for West Brom. Through ball from Brunt finds Robson Kanu, who tries to round Ospina but is stopped by the keeper. The ball falls to McClean but Koscielny blocks it on the line. Brunt then whizzes a shot over the bar.
65′: Welbeck rattles the bar with a header! It bounces out and is cleared.
64′: Arsenal not having much joy breaking down WBA. Over 20 passes leads to Sanchez looping a ball in to Walcott but Nyom beats him to it and puts it out. Giroud now replaces Theo.
61′: Giroud and Iwobi both warming up now. Surely a change is imminent for the Gunners?
58′: Arsenal looking to find the gap to breach the Baggies. Mustafi attempts to lob Foster from 25 yards out but it goes over.
55′: GOAL WEST BROM Robson Kanu The number four has scored moments after coming on!! McClean makes the chance with his pass and movement. Ospina comes to stop McClean latching onto the return ball but puts it right to the feet of Robson Kanu and it’s a goal.
54′: Call me old fashioned, but number four should not be on the back of a forward. That’s a centre mid’s number.
53′: Xhaka caught offside. Hal Robson Kanu is coming on for Salomon Rondon.
52′: Ball in behind from Sanchez to Monreal is intercepted by Chadli. Pulis has definitely give him a warning about his defending at half time after the goal they conceded.
50′: The Baggies win back the ball from the corner and counter. Brunt floats a ball into the area for Rondon but his glancing header is wide of the far post.
49′: Walcott receives a long ball in the area. Slots it across goal but no Arsenal player is alive to it and McAuley puts behind for a corner.
47′: This half starts the way the last one ended – Arsenal comfortable in possession until they cross the halfway line and then they lose it. WBA try to counter but can’t. Repeat until goal is scored.
Second half is about get underway!
Thoughts: Pulis’ side are so difficult to break down. Arsenal have been restricted to several long shots.
Wenger’s side’s goal came from a lapse of concentration on the right of the Baggies back six, with Chadli not tracking the goalscorer Sanchez.
West Brom are prolific on the counter and from set pieces, and look likely to score every time they are in those situations.
Half Time: West Brom 1-1 Arsenal
45′: 3 minutes of added time.
45′: Sanchez now fine by the way and receiving boo’s from the Hawthorns faithful for the sudden disappearing of his limping.
44′: Nyom pins Walcott to the ground and Arsenal get a free kick.
42′: Sanchez down now for Arsenal after being fouled by McClean, who’s been booked. Advantage was played but Arsenal couldn’t work a chance so hit the ball out of play.
40′: Xhaka the latest Arsenal player to shoot from distance but it’s high, wide and anything but handsome.
38′: Sanchez long range effort is deflected and almost falls kindly to Ramsey or Welbeck but neither can get it before it’s cleared. They get it back but Mustafi wastes possession.
37′: Rondon throws the ball out for a goal kick and we’re back underway.
35′: Petr Cech is down injured here for Arsenal. Could have to go off. Ospina is getting ready.
The replay suggests he’s twisted his planted foot when he was passing the ball. Just looked like he over extended on the twist. Could be a painful one but he’s walked off and Ospina is on.
34′: Evans meets the corner but it’s half cleared. Ball ends up on the right with Dawson who curls a cross into the corridor of uncertainty but nobody is quick enough to react to it and its out.
33′: Now Darren Fletcher has had an effort well saved by Cech at the other end! Corner time.
32′: Sanchez finds Ramsey in the area but his effort is saved by Foster. The ball falls in the area to Walcott after Nyom doesn’t control it, but Walcott can’t get an effort in on goal.
30′: Arsenal struggling to get past the famous Pulis back six. Eventually, the Baggies counter and find Rondon but he drags his effort wide of the fair post.
28′: McClean whips a ball into the area but over hits it. They keep it alive but Livermore does the same from the other side and the ball is out for a goal kick.
26′: Another WBA corner looked dangerous but Arsenal somehow clear. Sanchez is fouled by Rondon as Arsenal were trying to counter.
22′: Can still hear the plane flying over the Hawthorns. I think we’ve all seen the message now, move on. 1-1.
21′: Ramsey lofts a cross from the byline to the back post but Nyom clears and is fouled for his troubles. 1-1.
20′: A plane for Wenger out and a plane for Wenger in. These Arsenal fans don’t stop do they.
19′: Sanchez turns McAuley who fouls him. Turned on a five pence piece there. Free kick to Arsenal. 1-1
17′: Tony Pulis has got the whitest shoes on I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t strike me as a fella who likes clean shoes. Especially not white ones.
14′: GOAL ARSENAL Sanchez The Chilean is free at the back post and Xhaka finds him. He makes no mistakes and puts the ball in off the bar. 1-1.
13′: Sanchez loses the ball to Livermore and the Baggies are on the counter again. Rondon holds up the ball and a cross is eventually set from the right to the left but nobody in a striped shirt can claim it.
12′: GOAL WEST BROM Dawson From the resulting corner West Brom have scored. Craig Dawson flying in from deep heads the ball in from less than 4 yards out! 1-0.
Darren Fletcher stopped Cech from claiming the ball. West Brom so deadly from set pieces.
11′: West Brom winning back the ball and Brunt puts McClean in. He strikes an effort left of the goal straight at Cech who parries over for a corner.
9′: Tony Pulis less than pleased at the referee. No idea why as his team have been awarded a throw in.
6′: Chance for Arsenal. Sanchez slips a ball in behind for the overlapping Monreal. He squares the ball but Foster denies Walcott. 0-0
5′: Alan Nyom with a driving run down the left wing beats three Arsenal men and puts a ball across goal but there’s nobody on the end of it. 0-0
3′: Arsenal retaining the ball in their own third with ease, WBA allowing Arsenal to this but winning the ball off the Gunners in the final third without a problem. 0-0
