Full Time: Liverpool 2-1 Burnley 

90(+3)’ Lucas strolls past Keane and finds Woodburn but his shot is blocked by Mee.

90(+2)’: Ward’s ball into the box is cleared by Matip. Long throw from the Irish man ends up at the back post with Lowton’s who is wide open. He hits the ball over the bar after Klavan just does enough.

90′: 4 minutes added on. Liverpool caught in possession but win it back. Lallana is fouled by Brady and win a free kick which will help their cause.

89′: Substitution for Burnley Arfield off, Agyei on.

88′: The Reds still have possession off the corner. Eventually the ball is worked to Mane after Can’s chip but he sends it over the bar.

87′: Counter from Liverpool after Lucas regains possession. Plays it into Mane who releases Woodburn on the left. He tries to return the favour but can’t find the Senegalese forward in the area and it’s a corner.

85′: Into the last five minutes at Anfield and Liverpool are starting to manage this game. Will it come back to bite them?

82′: Burnley manager Sean Dyche complains to the fourth official his team “consistently get nothing” from referee’s. Wonder if he’ll mention that in his post match press conference.

82′: Free kick given against Barnes for a foul on Klavan. The Estonian doesn’t appreciate Barnes helping him up.

80′: Matip fails to clear and Vokes pounces but LFC’s No.32 recovers well and wins back possession.

79′: Substitution for Burnley Gray off, Vokes on.

79′: Substitution for Liverpool Origi off, Lucas on.

78′: Brady with a Lallana esque turn is fouled by Wijnaldum.

76′: Liverpool actually stopping some Burnley attacks here. Lowton’s ball in is met by a Red head and falls to Hendrick who can’t muster anything up.

74′: Origi clumsily fouls Mee as the Burnley man is controlling the ball in the air. Long free kick incoming but more excellent goalkeeping from Mignolet halts the Clarets’ progress.

72′: Substitution for Burnley Boyd off, Brady on.

68′: Mignolet rises and punches well but is clattered by Mee and Keane. Great goalkeeping by the Belgian.

65′: Milner wastes a free kick after Mane was fouled. His chipped past towards the running Lallana is intercepted with ease by Ward.

63′: Long free kick for Burnley falls to Barnes but he’s prevented from doubling his tally by the diving legs of Klavan.

61′: GOAL Emre Can 2-1 Origi passes the ball inside to Can who drills the ball low and hard past Heaton.

60′: Substitution for LFC Coutinho off, Woodburn on.

58′: Another unsuccessful couple of corners for Liverpool. Ben Woodburn is about to be introduced for the Reds.

57′: Barton brings down Wijnaldum on the right side of the 18 yard box. Free kick is played to the edge of the box and eventually falls to Matip in the area but it’s out for a corner to LFC.

56′: Lallana slides past Ward who limps but replays show there was no contact.

55′: Long throw from Ward is headed into the air by Matip. It falls to Barnes on the left of the six yard box but he skies it.

54′: Liverpool starting to grow into the game but Burnley stand strong amid their advances.

46′: First chance of the half falls to Barnes but his strike doesn’t bother Mignolet.

Second Half: The game restarts with Burnley kicking off.

Halftime: Liverpool 1-1 Burnley

45′: GOAL Wijnaldum 1-1 Origi puts a ball into the box and after his first flicked effort is blocked, he makes no mistake with his second effort.

42′: Another good ball by Milner who cuts in on his right aimed towards Origi but he can’t rise above Mee to the ball. The ball bounces off his shoulder out for a goal kick.

40′: Cross by Milner off the head of Origi into the air and safely caught by Heaton.

40′: Clyne drives inside the pitch and sends a pass towards to Coutinho but can’t pull it off.

38′: The resulting free kick is taken short by Milner to Wijnaldum who shoots from distance but is nowhere near troubling Tom Heaton.

37′: Wonderful cruyff turn from Lallana beats Mee who fouls the England international and is booked.

35′: Emre Can is down injured for Liverpool but should be okay to carry on.

30′: Plenty of possession for Liverpool but not in a dangerous area. Another corner after they get the ball wide on the right but once again the corner doesn’t trouble Burnley.

28′: Burnley’s defending is top draw. Block a chance from Origi/Wijnaldum and then force Can to go long. Liverpool not having much joy, but should exploit the space behind Ben Mee.

24′: Mane is fouled and Coutinho will take the free kick from about 45 yards out. He sends it into the crowd of players but it’s cleared. Another corner for LFC which is cleared and poses no threat.

21′: Excellent cross from Ward finds Barnes in acres of space in between Matip and Klavan. He misses his shot but is offside anyway. Liverpool yet to register a single attempt at goal so far.

19′: Three corners in a row for Liverpool here – all three amount to nothing.

19′: Liverpool eventually break Burnley down, and get Mane in on the right. His cross is blocked by Ben Mee and out for a corner.

14′: Can gives the ball away to Arfield who passes onto Ward on the overlap. He knocks it past Clyne but it runs out of play. Burnley have their tails up.

13′: Mane brings the ball under control from behind him into his path and sends a cross towards Origi but there’s just too much on it.

10′:George Boyd sends a free kick high and wide.

7′: GOAL Barnes 0-1 Great combination play from Burnley, Lowton’s movement gives them an outlet on the right.

He plays an inch perfect ball across the floor in behind the Liverpool back four and finds Barnes at the back post who beats Mignolet.
